Co-Founder, Creative Director
Livi Perrone is the head program director for all workshops and intensives. Her first original work titled “Wondering About Olive” was produced in New York City when she was thirteen years old. Since then she has written a number of adapted plays and musicals for young performers. Some of her recent works include “Happily: The Musical,” “Seraphina,” and “Fairy Tales Set Free: Peter and Wendy.” Throughout her career as a writer and an actress, she has received training in film and TV in addition to her extensive musical theater background.
Livi found her love for the dramatic arts at age 7 when she was cast in her first role as Marta in “The Sound of Music.” Since then she has made it her mission to create and develop entertainment that caters to young audiences.
Laurie is co-founder and producer for Riverside Theatre Arts. Perrone is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and a successful designer recently launching her own Farm2Fashion collection of sustainable knitwear made in America.
She is the costume designer for Riverside and has also worked on local school and community productions of Willy Wonka, Jr., The King and I, Jr. and The Sound of Music. Laurie's primary goal for Riverside Theatre Arts program is to provide a high standard of theatrical experience for children in Orange County, N.Y.
Luis Villabon is a bilingual actor/singer/dancer/director/choreographer/voice-over artist. New York theatre stage credits: Broadway: Peter Pan (Cathy Rigby). Sean P. Pallatroni
Sean Pallatroni is an EMMY® Award Winning composer, songwriter, and pianist from southern New Hampshire. Sean completed his undergraduate degree in Music Composition at the Hartt School of Music Dance Theatre (University of Hartford, West Hartford CT).
He has musically directed youth to professional theater across Connecticut and New Hampshire. He has written for musical theater, classical chamber ensembles, jazz, choir, and orchestra.
Sean has also written and recorded music for several short films, and for Connecticut Public Television. He currently musically directs and accompanies in Manhattan.
He collaborated with Livi Perrone on their musical “Happily: The Musical”.
Emma Schilling has been a dancer for 15 years. She has performed in countless full length ballets in addition to her musical theatre background.
She has worked with many contemporary and classical choreographers on new works.
She is currently a sophomore at Butler University, one of the top five university dance departments in the US. She is getting her Bachelor of Science degree in Dance/Arts Administration.
Emma will be teaching dance classes during the summer as a part of the newly opened Riverside Theatre Arts Academy.
Master Class Teachers
Neil taught original choreography from hit musical Hamilton. Our students travelled to NYC to work with this Broadway cast member and So You Think Can Dance alumni.
Jonalyn taught original choreography from hit musical Mean Girls. Our students got to work with Jonalyn at our new location, Riverside Theatre Arts Academy. The students learned so much from this Broadway super-swing!
Olivia is another super-swing from the original company of Dear Evan Hansen. She taught our students music and choreography from “You Will Be Found”. Our students travelled all the way to NYC to work with this amazing artist.
Analise was a child actor who performed in multiple Broadway musicals before the age of 18, including Matilda and A Christmas Story. She taught two numbers from Matilda when she came up to the Hudson Valley to teach for Riverside.
Marissa played Tracey on the first national tour of Hairspray. Our students learned the original choreography from “You Can’t Stop the Beat” with this bubbly Broadway star.
Amy invited our students to come take a master class based on the Transport Group’s production of Once Upon a Mattress. They learned the “Spanish Panic” and performed in on a real off-Broadway stage!
